The project is based on the integration of four a priori contradictory concepts, but fundamental for the property and for the functional conditioning factors. On the one hand, it is essential to guarantee hygiene and make it obvious to the user, while on the other, the property required a warm and welcoming atmosphere, very close to the domestic. Finally, it was necessary to integrate the necessary transparency to provide natural lighting to all the rooms with the necessary privacy of the consulting rooms and treatment rooms.
The project maximises the use of the available surface area, with a double circulation system for patients and doctors, placing the clinical programme in the centre and the waiting and service areas on the sides. The use of oak in the panelling and the glass partitions provide the necessary warmth and transparency, while the translucent vinyls ensure the privacy of the rooms without interrupting the spatial continuity thanks to the gradient in the upper part and the use of continuous floors and ceilings, offering an isotropic vision of the space that dilutes the limits of the establishment for the occasional user.
