Renovation of an old village house in the centre of the town on rue Fantin Latour in Claix. The project, carried out in collaboration with Guy Depollier, focuses on the insertion of an autonomous reinforced concrete structure into an existing stone envelope. The openings of the latter are preserved, their composition being the work of time and the changes of use of what was in turn a barn, a house and then a wine press. In order to maintain this continuity, three additional openings have been created to bring light where needed and to create new porosities with the rear garden. Finally, the intervention makes it possible to reappropriate the three existing bays of the ruined building in all their height.
