Mirasol house is a single-family housing project carried out with a light wooden frame structure. It is a house with an energy rating A.
The house is located in the northern part of the plot, where it is wider, orienting all its rooms to the south, the day areas on the ground floor and night ones on the first floor. A strip on the north face groups the access and the serving areas of the house, which do not require sunning: bathrooms, facilities room and laundry.
A large piece occupies the entire south face of the ground floor, facing the garden and pool. Life in the house is developed in this large room, which is a kitchen, dining room and living room, all open, favouring relationships between all family members.
The house is a compact, sober volume, in which white predominates, with regular openings that are protected from the sun with some booklet shutters, giving this cold volume a Mediterranean style.
Inside, a concrete pavement solves the entire ground floor, while white is the colour of walls, carpentry and kitchen furniture. On the bedrooms floor, an industrial parquet floor gives warmth. A radiant floor provides heating to the whole house, which being very isolated because it is built with wood, has a minimum energy demand.
