« Hedonie » is a summer cabin located in Faverges, France. It is situated along a bicycle path and a forest, overlooking a field of reeds. In the lower space, the platform allows users to gather around together in order to enjoy the calm of the environment before continuing their journey in the Region. The proximity between the ground and this platform offer a diversity of use where groups of people can join around it.
The translucide space is perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment that is mostly composed of reeds. The vegetation and the space become one, allowing this pavilion to enforce the closeness of nature and architecture.
At the highest point of the cabin, the observatory becomes the most enclosed space of the entire cabin. When people climb to the top of this space, they are able to reconnect with their childhood memory or enjoy the outstanding framing on the landscape. Here, people can relax, meditate, explore, read a book.
