The name of this house comes out from both from the formal configuration and the structural concept that stabilizes it.
The mixed structure, comprised of wet and dry construction, consists of two recovered iron frames supporting a network, which carry loads (tension).
The construction is constituted of two aligned end blocks counterbalancing the roof.
Those blocks are anchored to the weights of the brick walls in the form of boxes that rest on concrete skis, some on the ground and partly on a cantilever bracket supported with the above tensors.
Between the two blocks, there is an intermediate space hosting a new kitchen and a barbecue.
