The house is built on a small piece of ground. It is almost a square corner, 72m2, in a central area of the city.
The thick wall that closes the corner forms the outer expression of the house, being opposed to the thin skin of glass that connects the interior courtyard space. The lower levels of the house, where it has the original height of the existing building, deals with the areas of relationships, spatially integrated and functionally fragmented. The upper level is reserved for the most intimate area of the house. The project has two main themes, the geometry of the plant and the verticality of the interior space. The geometry produces a balance between interior and exterior space, almost fusing with the transparency, the different levels of ground and continuity of pavements while the idea of trying to maximize vertical space in relation to the m3 over the original m2, taking advantage of recycling but not tempted to subdivide the space. Restrictions that presents the option of recycling, which enabled are the complexity and spatial richness proposed by the house. The simple and abstract square defines the center point of the house which is embodied as an articulator of the horizontal and vertical spaces of the house. The staircase plays thus a crucial role in its further development integrating different levels of the project. Introversion of the house allows you to enjoy with privacy and without interference the bounties of the northern orientation.
