We found a typical example of vernacular architecture, adjacent to the remains of the city wall in Ribadeo, in a house which was in a terrible state of abandon. A minimal house.
Without rebuilding the original house, we opt for a simple and inexpensive construction system, adapted to traditional solutions.
We recover and consolidate the wall by separating it from the house. With this gesture we obtain ventilation and illumination for back rooms, avoiding contact with an element protected for its historical values.
