The landscape intervention guideline was to clean up all the incoherent additions piled up during the years. Therefore, the main work was to eliminate and shape trees, to get back visual cones and glimpses. This procedure allowed for beautiful balances and geometrical effects. A curious double hedge, made of Laurus Cerasus and Cupressus Arizonica, ironically plays with the outdoor couch made of artificial Buxus.
The differences in elevation were overcome by using linear walls and small steps of layers of Indian stone. Finally, the renovation of the house was structured in connection with the garden: wide windows and open spaces directly connect with the outside.
